WHAT IS MUN?
MUN is an international academic leadership program that deals with denoting the work of the United Nations and its organs. The basic idea behind MUN is to carry out simulations and conferences in which students participate by stepping into the role of ambassadors, representing their assigned nation in important political and social debates. Through participation in debates, negotiations, and open discussions the students learn how to accordingly prepare for such moderated debates, hold and write speeches, and plan strategies, all the while improving their English. All this gives students the opportunity to acquire important skills in the field of diplomacy, as well as provide a social circle where students can network.

"Truly gotta join TAUMUN because you’ll just love it so much!
This simple -at first glance- student organization simultaneously gave me in depth knowledge of the UN, helped me develop debate skills, encounter scholars and professionals of international relations and, of course, the coolest friends. Participating in the organization of the TLVMUN conference was also one of the highlights of this academic year: it was challenging, humbling, fun and very fruitful"
